A quick run-down:
We were in FL from last Wed-Sat.
Came home to meet baby Avery and do some laundry.
Left for OH Mon-Wed.
And today? It's 105 outside. And we're setting up a garage sale. Because we're insane in the membrane.
So please, come and buy our stuff. Yes, it will be blazing hot. Yes, I will stink. Indeed, I will be sweating through my tank top. Good times!
I'm selling several pieces of swoony furniture, loads of linens, lots of wall-hanging things and other general awesomeness.
My sisters-in-law are joining me, contributing TONS of excellent condition, name brand baby clothes (girls sizes NB-2T, boys sizes NB - 4T) and additional awesomeness.
There will also be the cutest lemonade stand in the history of the planet. (More on that to come.)
We are at 309 E. Waterford St. Wakarusa, Indiana. Sale runs Friday 8-5 and Saturday 8-?
Bonus: There's a mile-long garage sale happening just a few miles over on Saturday!
Be here or be square.
Bye.

Count on me. Not because I need more "stuff", but because I just got rid of a ton and I need a few cute pieces of swoony in my home.
ReplyDeleteI think this post is here to torture me for the following reasons:
ReplyDeletea) Sileysaurus.
b) Yard Sale too many states away to show up.
xxoo
Ughhh I wish I lived much closer to Wakarusa!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Joy. I think you need to move Southward a bit. ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Yardsaling!!

Oh my gosh. You totally should've told me about this!!! I would've rented a U-Haul and brought all the stuff I'm dreaming of selling! It's only a 4.5 hour trip, afterall. (I totally just map-quested it!) We couldda "shot the breeze" while all our stuff "flew off the shelves." -- and I might've come home with some of that dreamy stuff. okay, i'll stop rambling now. my kids just brought me a PolarPop Coke, and I'm a little over the top w/ sugar and caffeine... and heat. Have fun Shanny! Hope you sell lots! (Less to move, right???) Love, SW
ReplyDeleteI SO wish I could come. It's just too dang far away, even for a yard sale. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHope you sell out!

Heck, I wish I could come just because you made the "insane in the membrane" reference. I don't think my husband can even say the word "insane" without adding "in the membrane." :) Alas, Mr. Google informs me that your house is 9 hours and 26 minutes from mine. Hope you sell lots of stuff!
ReplyDeletewow, my sis lives at 404 E. Waterford.....small world!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! You're right by the church where they do the big Wakarusa resale. I may have to make the drive up there Saturday morning. Although with my luck there won't be any swoony things left. I'd come tomorrow but we're finally getting our kitchen measured for new linoleum from when my mom's dog ate the 1980's stuff that we had down.
ReplyDeletewish i was there to stop by. :) i feel your pain about the heat....its that hot here in my neck of the woods most of the year...oy!
ReplyDeleteYou know I'll be there or be square! Since you have the BEST stuff, I'll be there early, BEFORE my kids 6th grade/sports physicals instead of after. They are NOT thrilled with me, but tough!
ReplyDeleteIf I were even 100 miles away I'd stop at your yard sale. Alas, I'm much further away than that. I'm waiting until September or October to have my yard sale. I'm a wimp.
ReplyDeleteOh, and we're still waiting on that baby. She's waiting until the weekend so her uncle and granddaddy will be off. ;)
Deleteaw i wish i could come! i hope you sell lots and lots.
ReplyDeleteI have been longing for a good yard sale + lemonade stand but it is just too far for this girl to drive. ;) Hope you get rid of everything and have fun bartering.
ReplyDeleteOh my gracious I want to drive up there right now. Problem, I'm in AL. Other problem, I'd be insane to drive up there with two kids just for a garage sale. Still, I want to be there. Please post whatever doesn't sell b/c I might buy it. My husband would kill me. I'm trying to get rid of stuff and I'M the one who wants to get rid of everything. But that's because I don't like any of it and I love everything you have. I wish you could come decorate my house. I'm terrible at it. Other problem? We are moving to Guam in a couple months and our house will be tiny and the last thing I need to do right now is buy. more. stuff.
ReplyDeletePost it all anyway.
Have you seen the email from Barn Light Electric yet?!?!
ReplyDeleteHOW DID YOU KNOW THIS? Am I in the Twilight Zone? Just checking email for the first time today.
DeleteWoo hoo!!
I got an email from them that listed the winners and saw your name! When I saw it, I reacted as if I had won. :)
DeleteIt is not hip to be square. That is just a lie. I'd love to be sipping lemonade & perusing all your stuff I need. Have a fun weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe I can get a cheap flight? I'm sure I'd adore your "stuff". Perhaps a little Ebay for us way far away readers :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to come shop your sale!
ReplyDeleteHope you make millions! haha
taunt me, why dontchya.
ReplyDeleteGah! My Saturday is ruined knowing you're selling swoon worthy stuff and I can't sweat through MY tank top while digging through it. Dang.
ReplyDeleteIf I lived closer I would so be there!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to a garage sale all spring/summer...so unlike me. :( Thinking about having one when it cools off, props to you for enduring the awful heat! <3
You are too far away & I just returned from Colorado so I won't be "Physically there" at your sale- but in spirit instead.
ReplyDeleteWe had our garage sale about two days before we left for vacation. It was also in the high 90's/low 100's and it was..in a word: AWESOME.
It was really much too hot. But we did still make around $200!
POW!!
Congrats on all of the babies, granny! <---You KNOW I'm kidding as I've also been referred to as "grandparent age" by that one adoption agency. LOL and I don't mean "Lots of Love" (I mean, I do..but I'm laughing in this situation..)
Colorado has healed and cleansed my soul.
Yee Haw and..yep..
HOLLA!
xoxo
TT
Good luck with the garage sale! Just found your blog, and I love it!
